Through songs, games, and real-world content, preschool students are introduced to the English language. Practicing everyday vocabulary and phrases, allows students to communicate and talk about topics of their interest. An important factor for language acquisition with preschool students is through games. During this period preschool students enjoy participating in them, and to participate students will try to speak the English language.
We do a lot of activities to encourage students to speak English such as Show n´Tell, Picture and Spelling Bee, and crafts to reinforce concepts seen in class. We teach our students about the American culture by talking about their festivities and important celebrations. This way our students are learning the language and its culture.
